Whether it's the finances, the function, or just a feeling that something needs to shift, it might be time to ask what your next chapter looks like
There’s a saying I love: there’s a seat for every butt. And when it comes to housing, that’s exactly how I see it. There are so many different ways people love to live, and no two situations are the same.
Some people love to rent. Some people will only buy. And even within buying, there are different paths. You might own your own land and your own home. You might lease the land. You might find the perfect fit in a manufactured home park.
The home I’m standing in front of in this video is in a senior manufactured home park, and for the right person, it’s a wonderful option. The point is, there are more ways to make homeownership work than most people realize, and the right answer is the one that fits your life, your finances, and your goals.
Everyone is looking for a place to call home. Maybe you found yours 20 years ago and it’s still perfect. Maybe you found it a couple of years ago and you’re settled in. But maybe things have changed. Maybe the finances feel different. Maybe the function of the home doesn’t match how you’re living now. Maybe it’s just a feeling that something needs to shift.
If that’s where you are, I want to encourage you to at least ask the question: what would it look like to do something else?
That doesn’t mean you have to move tomorrow. It just means giving yourself permission to explore what’s out there and what might fit better. What does home look like for you right now? What does it feel like? How much does it cost? And who do you need to be around to make it feel like home?
These are the kinds of conversations I have with people all the time, and they’re some of my favorites. Whether you’re thinking about selling, thinking about buying, or just starting to wonder if a change might be right, I’d love to talk it through with you.
I’ve been helping smart homeowners find the place that welcomes them in the door for a long time now, and I would love to be that resource for you.
